Editing Blog
For the editing of my commercial, I ended up using Windows Movie Maker as my editing software. I felt comfortable using this as my software to edit, other than Adobe's Premiere Pro software, as I am currently unfamiliar with the interface and mechanics of the program. With Movie Maker, I understood my surroundings of the program, as everything was more accessible than Premiere Pro. I implemented features of the product like the weight, the versatility, the ease-of-use, and more. I was unsure when adding a price, but ended up doing it anyways, since the product at hand was an individual product and not a fleet of products under that brand. I used this built-in feature in Movie Maker called video stabilization which corrected most of the instability in movement and made the video an equal shot. It is an excellent feature in Movie Maker, and is very useful when you don't have the proper filming accessories. I also added music to the commercial, more specifically house music, to create a more direct approach at an audience that would use this product. In the long run, I finished off the whole project with transitions, captions, and the Serato logo as a finishing touch.
